Salix (Salicaceae). S. cascadensis germ. 70L(4/18 in 1-3 w), 70D(all rotted), and 40-70L(9/19 in 5-8 d). Most of the ungerminated seed in 70L or 40-70L remained green and photosynthesizing for an additional month but failed to develop a radicle or open the cotyledons and ultimatelly rotted.
